Rochester's self-promotingest rockers will be back in the studio in September to record a brand new album. There will probably be a December release, just not sure which year yet. Also, set your tivo right now, the Isotopes will appear on WXXI (channel 21, cable 11) on Sunday, December 28th. It's an hour of lively political debate and cooking tips, missing it would kinda suck.

It's been a hell of a year for The Isotopes so far... We've just played our first East End Festival (The Insider has the pictures to prove it), and last month we taped an hour-long special for WXXI-TV and WRUR radio. Stay tuned for broadcast details and upcoming shows!

The Isotopes broke the proverbial cherry of The Record Archive's brand new stage at their brand new location. The debauchery was photographically recorded for posterity by R News. Thanks to the Archive for having us, and we have no idea how all those CD's ended up in Hercules's bass drum.
The amazing Frank De Blase had some kind words to say about our performance... I guess those bribes are finally paying off.

Thanks to the city of Buffalo and Red Bull energy drink for the great time we had last weekend. The Red Bull guys really took care of us and we appreciate it. As far as we're concerned it doesn't matter that their beverage tastes like crap and makes us do things we regret the next morning. Check out a ton of pictures from the show up on buffalo.com: Topes Photos.

Today the Isotopes had band practice and didn't have to play a single crappy cover song. It rocked.

Our radio appearance on Kimberly and Beck from this morning is now up in our press section. Click here to listen to the best segment in Rochester morning radio history. To be fair, Wease is pretty easy to top.

Huge thanks to City Newspaper and Frank DeBlase for awarding this site Rochester's Best Local Band Website! We couldn't agree more. This site is full of sweet music, pics, videos, and hilarious news updates. Well music, pics and videos anyway. It's a good thing City has informed the public about this epic site because the Isotopes are much too humble to promote it themselves.

Tomorrow morning the Isotopes will be appearing on the Kimberly and Beck show on 98.9 The Buzz to promote the super sweet karaoke show next week at the Bug Jar. See everyone at the show!
