Saturday, February 4th, 2012 - 9pm - Come and celebrate a little Valentine's cheer with The Isotopes! We'll be returning to our absolute favorite insect-based establishment, the Bug Jar and softly swaying to the romantic metal sounds of Blizaro and the sweet, sweet nothings of ear-splitting rock 'n roll from New York City's Mighty High.

Saturday, March 24th, 2012 - 9pm - The Isotopes bring their face-melting instrumental rock 'n roll to the brand new stage of Sticky Lips BBQ Juke Joint!

Do bands still have websites? A few, I'm told. Do people still read websites? They do when they're about The Isotopes! Check out this interview we did with the fine, fine folks at Rochester Insomniac. I'm pretty sure we said at least three-quarters of the stuff that's been attributed to us. Honestly, my memory is a little hazy.

The first-ever Isotopes Beach Party has been CANCELED! AGAIN! Is it possible that Hurricane Irene was a government created weather system with the sole purpose of thwarting the Isotopes first ever beach party? Probably.

Well, bad ending to a great summer for the Isotopes. Thanks to everyone who came out to shows and supported us. And an extra-special shout out to the person claiming to be Ed from the German House's lawyer. Thanks for not suing us! XOXO.

Big Christmas show scheduled for 12/23 and some other Fall shows in the works. Check back hourly.

As we might have mentioned once or twice, we have a brand new, self-titled album. It's both handsome and listenable. Because we're more charitable than a childless oil tycoon, we have some choice tracks available for free right here on our non-mobile-optimized website. Check the tunes on our Audio Page then come to one of our super sick shows and buy four of 'em.

Hey, remember our tenth anniversary show? Us neither! Thankfully we took lots of pictures. If you were lucky enough to step into our Isotopes Photo Booth, you might find your handsome mug here!

Alright people, it's contest time! Post your best Isotopes' style announcement on our facebook page. The writer of the funniest post will receive some schwag and more importantly, your announcement will be recorded by our announcer and played at the Topes 10 year anniversary show on Friday, April 8th at the Montage Music Hall.

Well its 2011 people, which means we're in the home stretch for humanity, but more importantly, its the Isotopes' 10 year anniversary. Wow, it seems like only 8 or 9 years ago we left the lab and started to pretend we had a band in order to get tight-bodied dancers to "audition" for us.

The most amazing part, no one has caught on yet. People seem to think this is a legitament rock band, which says more about the other local rock bands than it does about us. Step it up guys, a t-shirt and jeans, zero boobs, and a rock version of Folsom Prison Blues isn't going to pack many places larger than Monty's Krown (which is always packed because alcohol and drugs are still quite popular).

Of course, the Isotopes are not content to just continue the usual year of devastating shows and unplanned go-go pregnancies. Nope, this year we're celebrating because 10 years is something special. Hell, its 6 years longer than the first black man to become president held office. And for this accomplishment we're throwing a party. The other worthy band, the Hi Risers, will be there, and so will you. Come down to the Montage Music Hall on April 8th, and maybe, just maybe, some of our incredible ability to keep a cool head, a moist penis, and an extraordinary live experience will rub off on you. That is, if you'd like the Isotopes to rub off on you. And in case you do contact us: spitbeer@theisotopes.com.

This past weekend we went into the studio for the second session that will make up our next full-length release scheduled for April of 2011. This will also be our 10 year anniversary (or possibly 11 year, memory ain't what it used to be).

To hold you over until then, here's a new song. Check it out here before it becomes the theme song to the next hit CBS crime action/drama prime time show, CSI and Order: Omaha.

The next show, December 4th at the Lovin' Cup, will be the Isotopes last until Spring of next year. Admiral Awesome is once again breeding and will have nipples that are much too tender to slap the skins. Come out and support, there will be some surprises that don't involve groin punching! (and some that do)
