Can you give us a little background on the band? How did you guys get together? What other bands might we know you from?
Five and a half years ago, Awesomeness came in Radical's vagina. Nine months later, the Isotopes were born. You might know us from such bands as Sluts, Kalibas, Eddie Nebula and the Plague, UV Rays, A Death Between Seasons, High Voltage Kleenex and Stryper.

Why did you decide on The Isotopes and why the science gimmick?
With great power comes great responsibility.

How would you describe your sound? Who are some of the influences on your band?
BRUTAL FACEMELTING INSTRUMENTAL ROCK AND ROLL. We are assuming that you meant to say who have we influenced, that list is way too long to get into right now. Let's just say that we started using the 'N' word way before Richard Pryor started putting it into his act.

Do you have any releases? Are you affiliated with any label?
Well, as we speak the dancers are actually giving us hand release.

We have our first full length CD "Choose Your Own Adventure" an interactive audio version of the popular 80's book series, which we humbly admit is the coolest release by any Rochester band EVER! That is until we unleash our newest CD that actually includes an Isotopes video game (bitches!).

Well, we don't really like to tag ourselves with "labels" but we have been affiliated with the labels "well hung", "majorly endowed", "Lexington Steel-like", "cockamungus" and of course "having much larger than average size penises".

Where do you see yourselves as a band in 5 years?
Celebrating the 5 year anniversary of you asking us this question.

What is your definition of success for the band?
1. the achievement of something planned or attempted; 2. impressive achievement, especially the attainment of fame, wealth, or power; 3. something that turns out as planned or intended; 4. somebody who has a record of achievement, especially in gaining wealth, fame, or power

Do you have any advice for the youngins' starting a band?
Yeah, move to Buffalo 'cause we fucking rule this town!

Who are some of your favorite bands to play with and/or bands you would like to play with?
Our dream lineup would be the Vertigo-gos, Duke Galaxy and the Pipeliners, and the Isotopes. Wait, now that I think about it, two-thirds of that line-up is fucking boring.

What band local/national do you think doesn't get the respect/exposure they deserve?
The Isotopes

You are doing a show to fix up your "Party Emergency Ambulance". What do you have lined up?
Four Rails.

I want to thank Max Power for giving guys like me hope that someday we can be in a band. I know that isn't a question, but I just wanted to say it.
Worst Interview Ever.

You have one of the grandest stage shows of any local band I have ever seen. Do you want people to remember you for the music or the show?
I'd be surprised if anyone cared about our music.

What is in your fridge?
Dead hooker parts, ketchup and bologna.

Can I have a few minutes with one of the dancers? It won't take but a minute.
The experience only lasts a minute, but the itch lasts forever.
